Sabbath Night in the Church of the Piranha

Sabbath Night in the Church of the Piranha Written by Edward Falco
Directed by Haley Murphy

Synopsis:
It is Sabbath Night in the Church of the Piranha — a church created by 15-year-old Chris Penrose as a way to prove to his mother, Una, that he is an adult and capable of running his own life. When Una’s mother Marilyn arrives for a surprise visit, the Sabbath ceremony takes a backseat to the drama that arises as Chris argues his independence from Una while Una attempts to maintain the emotional and physical balance she has worked so hard to keep in spite of Marilyn’s constant criticism and Chris’s teenage angst.

What does it take to open up a wound again? Let’s say you step on a piece of glass. It’s too deep; it would be too painful to dig it out. So you let the skin close over it. On the outside it looks fine, no one would know it was there. Sometimes you even forget all about it. But you step on it again and the pain is still there. At what point do you face the greater pain of getting it out – with the hope of finally finding relief? Maybe you just accept it and live with the pain. What about other kinds of pain? Can you really bury the traumas of your life and pretend they never happened? You can look normal on the outside, but the damage never goes away. We can spend our entire lives avoiding that moment, and yet we cannot begin to heal until we face it. So, what does it take to open up a wound again and allow healing to begin?

That is understandable that money makes people free. But how to act if one doesn’t have cash? The one way only is to receive the mortgage loans or credit loan.
